When I came home with a B+ in Physics my Sophomore year of college my mother was shocked. The previous year I was lucky to get a low C in General Math. She wondered how I managed it, as did I. Over the years I've thought about it often and I think I've got it all figured out. Math is about what and that's it. You have two trains coming at one another on the tracks; at what speed will they meet? Frankly, I don't care. I want to know why they are there in the first place. Did someone accidentally pull the wrong switch after having a serious blowout with his teenager? Are both conductors in competition for the Darwin Awards? How will they die? Why can't they stop themselves? Physics looks at these questions. The plot isn't removed from the problem.
I also think that, on some level, I understood that my entire life was a mission to become one with the Universe. I have been surrounded by energy since childhood. The American Indians knew it and Einstein theorized it. We are all energy connected to everyone and everything in the world around us. I cannot pass by you without taking several of your molecules with me. Your arm is now part of my arm and we are both part of the office building, elevator and water cooler with which we spend the day. Once you grasp the ramifications of this physics lesson you become totally awed with it all.
Depending upon who you're talking to, medical science has determined that when we die we lose approximately 15 ounces, thus proving the existence of a soul. They've also proven the benefits of prayer, but try to get most of them to admit to it. Parapsychologists have taken photos of the soul as it leaves the body and it would appear to be a ball of energy lifting up into the atmosphere. So, where do we go? Energy becomes part and parcel of the world around us. Uncle Henry is still around and how you perceive him depends upon how you are able to connect with the different energies. Of course, it's much more complicated than that but I teach spiritual, not science. And I did not fully comprehend it all until I sat down to write. This is inspiration, God speaking to me, my guardian angel...one and all.
This idea does not negate religious beliefs, heaven, hell or even the 7-11. We're still human beings using only a percentage of our brains and there are so many things to consider. Are there aliens? Yes, the kind with big black eyes trying to "phone home." Do they really look like that? I don't know, haven't been abducted. But, why would they not exist? Certainly, the whole concept adds to the possibilities of what happens to our energy when we die. We cannot possibly think 7 billion people inhabit an entire universe. Perhaps some of those 7 billion are here disguised as us. Is there evil? Yes, I firmly believe this world is infused with evil. The Bible states that Satan has rule over the earth. Did you know that over 90% of our world leaders are either socio or psychopaths?
What it all means, in my opinion, is we must eliminate intolerance. When we are all one and the same we have no space for hatred. A Muslim is a Jew is a Christian is a gay man is a black woman. The evil of this world works not to destroy us so much as to separate us so we will destroy ourselves. This is why I believe the Law of Attraction is wrong. It is self-centered and focused on bringing wealth to one individual. Just as Christianity is focused on bringing salvation to only a very few.
I have developed a whole new philosophy based on those things I have lived, dreamed, and come to understand. I started as a small child and am still working on it at the age of 52. Don't hate me if I learn more and change some views. Like Jesus, I waited for God to tell me when it was time to start. Well, actually, what I perceive God to be. mm, maybe I need a new name J, everybody who starts a new religion gives God a new name. Also, like Jesus, I will likely endear some, alienate some and anger some. If you've read my intro you'll know I certainly don't think like most do.
I'm not asking any of you to simply accept what I say as either truth or lie. I want you to use my words as a spring board from which you launch your own beliefs. I've no interest in starting a cult; although, I do have a very large pitcher I haven't used in awhile. Now, what flavor was that koolaid? ;)
